What Voli is
Voli is a platform that connects homeowners and contractors, holds project funds until milestones are approved, and provides AI-assisted pricing analysis and dispute mediation. Voli is a technology platform — not a party to the construction contract between buyer and contractor, and not a bank, licensed escrow agent, or law firm.
Payments and escrow
Deposits are processed by our payment partners and held until the buyer approves the corresponding milestone, at which point funds are released to the contractor as the buyer's payment agent. Voli currently charges no platform fee on funded amounts; card payments carry a 3% processing fee. Any change to Voli's fees will be posted here before it takes effect. Fund each milestone as work progresses rather than depositing an entire project budget upfront.
Your responsibilities
Provide accurate information, hold the licenses and insurance you claim, use the platform's messaging and documentation for project communication, and honor the milestones you agree to. Content you post must be lawful and yours to share.
Disputes
If a dispute is opened, the project pauses and Voli reviews the documented record — messages, files, milestones, and payments — to mediate an outcome. By using Voli you agree that milestone funds frozen during a dispute are released according to that resolution process.
